SEXEDPL X BRAIN – Wanted a Prince Charming?

In fairy tales, princes are the embodiment of good manners. Even though they’re as stereotypical as it gets, they’re meant to show what respect and tact look like. That’s why the fairytale world became the perfect frame for us to say something very real and very uncomfortable.

We aim to show that if something sounds shocking in a fairy tale, it should sound just as shocking in real life. And that the line between jokes and violence has nothing to do with someone’s sense of humor, and everything to do with awareness.

And according to this year’s Party Map of Poland, that awareness is still barely getting off the ground:

🔺 56% of women have encountered sexual comments or “jokes” from men.
🔺 1 in 3 men doesn’t consider sexist comments to be sexual misconduct.
🔺 1 in 4 men doesn’t see unwanted flashing as sexual violence.

That’s why, together with SEXEDPL, we created a campaign that not only exposes the absurdity of behaviors that somehow became “normal,” but also offers a clear way out with SEXEDPL’s Anti-Violence Helpline with volunteers ready to speak to anyone who’s unsure where a joke ends and violence begins.
